I/O Input Output – Volume II
This is the second part of the project “I/O Input Output”, developed during the first semester of my master’s degree, in 2020. In this second part I used a different method by inserting images of my own and only looking at the first suggested image by the Google search engine. The images used for this project belong to the photographic series “Chasing red” that I produced around the same time. Therefore, contrary to what happens in the first part, I do not carry out any analysis or selection, allowing the algorithms to decide what that output image will be. Then, I overlap my image with the first image that the algorithm associated with it, and I construct a new image, trying to understand whether the combinatory logic by which the context is architected would be perceived as natural, common or if it would be observed as something absurd or incoherent. The process for that image ends there and I then repeat it for each of my images. Here are just some of the pages that integrate this book. In the last one we can look at all the results.
